Back in February, Outspark brought back a new and updated version of Secret of the Solstice which is now named Solstice: Reborn. While it has many aspects of the original Secret of the Solstice, it has been updated and enhanced with many new features. As can be seen from our original page on Secret of the Solstice, the original was rated pretty low, but the revamp may have made the game much better as it has a different style of play.
The graphics of Solstice: Reborn are like that of the Super Nintendo Secret of Mana series and gameplay is similar. The game is the typical MMORPG where you kill enemies, level up, and complete quests. You will start as the same class but will be able to eventually take one of 16 different classes. While the graphics are more old school, the actual game is fun and refreshing. Controls are easy to learn and the enemies are pretty unique.
Solstice: Reborn has added much more from the original. It updated and enhanced its UI to make it easier to use. It introduced crafting similar to other MMORPGs. It added partnership quests for duos to do together. It made a few changes to gameplay to make the game funner to play. Whether or not you have tried the original Solstice it is worth taking a look into the new Solstice: Reborn.
